Víðar Logi (b. 1995) is an Icelandic visual artist working across photography, video, and sculpture. Self-taught and raised in northern Iceland, his practice draws on the landscapes and imagination of his upbringing.
Logi approaches each project through experimentation, learning the techniques needed to develop an idea rather than following a fixed method. His work explores mysticism and the human figure, manipulating form and scale to question the boundaries between the familiar and the imagined.
He collaborated with Björk on the visual world of her album Fossora, including its cover and music videos. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Centre Pompidou, and Kunsthal Rotterdam, and published in Vogue, Dazed, and Rolling Stone.
